Team IPA home trail Flat Creek Crossing Ranch is hosting a Paydirt day on April 16th! Start at 9am, work for 3 hours, ride for 3 hours. This is a great way to get some Paydirt in and ride one of the best trails in Texas!

While a few Team IPA’ers were slogging it out at the Austin Rattler, others made their way to Pace Bend for the latest race in the TMBRA XC series. The weather was perfect, the competition fierce, and Team IPA came away with even more podiums! Thanks as usual to Tobin and George for all their work putting these races on.

Not surprisingly, only the brave and the foolhardy showed up for this one – the notorious Leadville qualifier. Coming in quickest was our HR (Hugs and Races) Director, Kyle Poole, with an impressive time of 4:43. Lisa Lennon pulled in a fast time of 5:10, and not too far behind, Gary Liardon came in on the singlespeed at 5:47. Ben Adair managed 6:26.
60-odd miles of dirt road and single track in Central Texas is no joke – well done, Team!
A very large turnout by the team this past weekend in beautiful Castell, Texas, to celebrate our second anniversary by riding gravel. Some great results – Padre Mora took the 100km singlespeed hammer, Paulette Williamson Moczygemba took 5th place in the women’s 75km, and John Fruehe must be commended for a valiant attempt to re-take the 75 km singlespeed hammer.

Here at Team IPA we like to have fun, and we are also great at making fun of ourselves. In this short clip, ace rider Cooper Sellers shows off the new team enduro kit, as well as some flashy technical skills!
The TMBRA XC series continued this past weekend out in Comfort, and Team IPA was there to represent. Several podium and top ten finishes – always good to see! Great work by Carrie Arnold, Gary Liardon, David O’Bryan, Deak Mihaly, Daniel Morales and Cooper Sellers.

Probably the strongest turnout yet for Team IPA at one of the TMBRA spring series favorites. Four podium finishes and a further four top ten positions!
Cindy Abbott-Wood was wearing the team colors and took 2nd place in the Cat 1/Pro women’s event. Sadly, Cooper DNF’d with a flat in the Men’s Cat 2. We also had Mark Logrbrinck, Kyle Olson, Molly Wolf, Carla Jennings, Stephanie Childs and Dawn Skinner helping out with food, parking area and other thankless tasks that happen at races. The team tent was busy!
Another strong showing by Team IPA – Lucie Hanzlik placed 5th in the Women’s Cat 2 40-49 age group, and Cooper Sellers placed 3rd in the Men’s Cat 2 40-44 age group. Gary Liardon placed 14th in the SS Open, only 14 minutes behind the leader, and newcomer Deak Mihaly took 23rd place in the Men’s Cat 2 50+ group. We even had a Cat 1 success – David O’Bryan came in 12th in the Men’s 50+ group! Well done, everyone!

More shenanigans with Team IPA at the last event in the 2015/6 TMBRA Endurance Series. Some did the Full, some the Half. Two full laps at Flat Rock is no joke! A good time riding, camping and hanging with TIPAR racers from Austin, San Antonio and San Angelo.
