Team IPA racer Ben Adair recently participated in the annual Bike Out Hunger Texas ride from Fredericksburg to Cedar Hill, near Dallas – 24 hours of riding over 5 days. On Day 5 his rear derailleur shifter broke off so he had to 2-gear it for ~20 miles into Cedar Hill. His 9 year old daughter accompanied him for 60 miles of the ride, 20 of that solo.
